Lake Ossiachersee, a true favorite, is where old friends and fresh talent meet each year at the FREE WATER CLASSIC. In 2026, we’re turning up the excitement: swim across the lake from Annenheim to Ossiach!
Old friends. New courses. Endless possibilities.
Choose your distance
Choose from a variety of courses: 500 m, 1.5 km, 2.5 km, 5 km, or 10 km. Kids can choose between the 250 m and 500 m courses.
Big comeback: the 10.0 km course will return in 2026 as the Ossiach Lake CROSSING.

Swim it your way – Single or Cup
The FREE WATER CLASSIC can be swum as an individual event, but it also counts toward the Alpe Adria Swim Cup rankings.
