Alpen Adria Swim Cup
Limitless Freedom in the water and across geographical boundaries - that characterizes the Alpen Adria Swim Cup, which had it’s premiere in 2019 and has been successful ever since. The cup connects three countries: Austria, Slovenia and Croatia and offers an attractive combination of events for the booming sport of open water swimming.
Swimmers from all over the world take part in our events and want to swim through the most beautiful lakes and stretches of sea.
The Alpen Adria Region offers the most beautiful and best possibilities for swimming, Crystal clear, azure blue waters, surrounded by a breathtaking natural setting – that is why obviously the Region is predestined with the Alpen-Adria-Swim Cup to create a new Highlight in sports.
„We want to revive and establish the sport of swimming in a traditional, familiar and long term sustainable manner, to bring it back into focus. Open-Water swimming excites and creates with its distinctiveness an exceptional power and allurement. We want to stay abreast of these changes and create a unity amongst athletes in these four bordering countries“, explains event Innovator and Manager Georg Findenig, amending, „the centre of attention for us is definitely and clearly the athletes, whether adults or children, open water profi or beginner“
