​// Alpen Adria Swim Cup – Course Information

Swimming Courses:

Detailed course descriptions are available as a video on our homepage.

 

Shuttle Service:

The entry fee includes shuttle transport from the event area to the respective start locations, as well as clothing transport back to the finish (event area).

 

Swim Buoy:

Swim buoys are mandatory for 500 m and 250 m (Allstars & Kids).

Optional for all other distances. Rental available against deposit.

 

SUP / Boat Support:

For safety reasons, all participants in the 34.0 km and 17.5 km races must have a 1:1 support escort.

For 34.0 km: escort is provided by the organizer.

For 17.5 km: escort must be organized by the participant or can be booked through the organizer for an additional fee.

 

Rules & Fair Play:

All buoys must be passed. Missing a buoy results in disqualification.

34.0 km: 7 checkpoints must be passed.

17.5 km and 10.0 km: checkpoint at the aid station (Sportinsel near Schloss Seefels).

All participants must check in at checkpoints. Missing a checkpoint results in disqualification.

 

Nutrition on Course:

17.5 km: nutrition can be handed over via escort.

10.0 km: aid station at Sportinsel near Schloss Seefels.

34.0 km: organizer provides bars, gels, and isotonic drinks. Personal nutrition allowed.

17.5 km: organizer provides 2 bars, 4 gels, and isotonic drinks.

 

Awards:

Top 3 female and male athletes per distance will be awarded.

 

Overall Ranking:

All AASC points are accumulated.

Final awards take place at the AASC event in Croatia.

Age group rankings are available online.

The partner event “Johnny Who” takes place on the same day at the same time.
